1: When did you start playing baseball?

I started playing baseball with my dad when I was four-years old. I joined the London Mets Youth program as a 10 year-old and I have been a part of the London Mets organization every since, going through all age groups, and have been playing for the London Mets National Baseball League team since I was 16. I have played for a large variety of teams. These include the London Mets, the Texarkana Canes who I played for in the summer of 2014 in Texas. I have been apart of the Great Britain National Team since I was 14 years-old, traveling to Sweden, Czech Republic, South Africa & Florida on tours for GB. I hope to be selected for the Great Britain Senior team to play in the World Baseball Classic in Arizona next month.

2: What teams have you played for?

I arrived at Waubonsee Community College in August 2015, in Chicago Illinois and played on the baseball team there for two years, until May 2017. At the school, we set the team record over two years with a record of 69-33, winning conference titles two years in a row and also going to the NJCAA World Series in 2016. I got a scholarship to go and play for St. Ambrose University for the final two years of my collegiate baseball career where I was the starting first baseman and achieved a .988 fielding percentage over two years. I graduated in December 2019, achieving an undergraduate degree in Communications. During each summer from 2015-2019, I continued to play for my hometown London Mets NBL team, playing in the Confederation of European Baseball qualifier in Sofia, Bulgaria 2018 & Moscow Russia 2019.

3: How do you feel about playing for the Hamburg Stealers in 2020?

I am extremely excited to come and play for the Hamburg Stealers in 2020. I’ve had multiple friends and teammates play for Hamburg and I’ve heard nothing but great things about this club! This is a great opportunity for me to continue my baseball career while expanding my knowledge of Germany, meeting new people and making great memories on and off the field. The Bundesliga is one of the top leagues in Europe and I’m excited to play in such a competitive environment, fighting every day to win the league for the Hamburg Stealers.

4: What are your goals for the next season? And what are your goals off the field?

As for goals on the field, I will only worry about the things that I can control, which is to give the best effort and attitude for my team, and I know that my teammates will do the same which is why we will finish at the top of the Bundesliga this season. Off the field, I would like to make new memories, meeting new people and also helping to coach the lower age groups.

5: Have you ever been to Germany/Europe?

Yes, I’ve been to Germany once before when I was younger and I really enjoyed it! I’ve been to 14 different countries in Europe, while also traveling to South Africa and America. My parents are born and raised in Indiana, USA and I have traveled to America every year of my whole life. I am a die-hard Chicago White Sox fan.
